Host a Student with Educational Homestay Programs!
Since you're here, let me tell you about my other passion--Exchange Students! Each year, Educational Homestay Programs, a non-profit branch of Education First, brings groups of students from all over the world to the United States to improve their English and get to know what we're really like, not just what they see on t.v. We get a chance to share experiences and break down those barriers of language, culture and geography.
Sacramento has a well established program that I feel lucky to work with. Our family has personally benefitted from hosting each summer for the past 3 years. Our boys have big brothers all over the world. They truly benefit from growing up with such a broad and international perspective from such a young age. I cannot say enough how wonderful this program is for everyone involved.
This year, we have students coming from Spain, Hong Kong, China, Austria, and Germany from July 26th-August 14th. We still need loving host families in the Elk Grove/Sacramento/Rancho Cordova areas. EHP has programs all over Northern California and the US, contact us
